Bio Carotte: A carrot that has become an icon of Lyon street art

Since 2009, a mischievous carrot signed by the mysterious artist Mr Carotte has established itself in the urban landscape of Lyon. First seen along the A6, near the Fourvière tunnel, it has since invaded the roofs, signs and iron curtains of the city. An unexpected symbol, this carrot intrigues and amuses, to the point of becoming a local mascot.

His anonymity reinforces his aura, as does the durability of his works, respected by the community. Like other street art figures, the carrot embodies a unique signature, testifying to humility and creativity in a joyfully offbeat style.
