Bio Carrot: A carrot that has become an icon of Lyon street art
Since 2009, a mischievous carrot designed by the mysterious artist Mr. Carotte has become a fixture in Lyon's urban landscape. First spotted along the A6, near the Fourvière tunnel, it has since invaded the city's rooftops, billboards, and iron curtains. An unexpected symbol, this carrot intrigues and amuses, to the point of becoming a local mascot.
His anonymity reinforces his aura, as does the durability of his works, respected by the community. Like other street art figures, the carrot embodies a unique signature, demonstrating humility and creativity in a joyfully offbeat style.
